As a mom of children who learn in non-traditional ways, RightStart is the perfect math curriculum because it meets the needs of children who do not learn effectively with workbook style math. My children love all the different ways to do math-the abacus and the games for example as well as the worksheets. The worksheets are not too repetitive, but get the point across efficiently. We are happy that our kids are no longer in tears when we do our math lesson. I also like how the curriculum doesn't stay on one area of learning for the entire book. So, my 2nd grader and my 5th grader are both learning geometry at their levels of understanding. I believe it is the best way to teach math. We have tried other workbook style and manipulative style curricula and RightStart is the most comprehensive and student/teacher-friendly information around.
