Level A is a must!
As a former first grade teacher of 11 years turned homeschool mom I can say after teaching twelve lessons and reviewing the scope and sequence of the Kindergarten level (level A) your socks will be blown off at how much is learned and the actual content that is being taught. I’m talking about the basics of geometry and multiplication as well as how to subatize quarries and simply write numbers. I had considered skipping a formal curriculum in K for my son. Don’t. There is so much I’d have never thought to introduce and that after teaching first for years! The manipulatives and objectives are very similar to common core expectations. This program will provide my kid with a deep understanding of mathematics. I really Love right start math.

Very happy!
I felt a bit overwhelmed when I opened the box, but I shouldn't have. The directions are easy to follow, and I've found myself enjoying each lesson.

My child finally loves school.
Nicole is very smart, but was having a hard time processing her thoughts. I saw your product advertised after she was diagnosed with Dyslexia and decided to give it a try. The abacus and songs were instant hits. Looking at numbers to add or subtract was hard for her, but the visual learning of this course clicked with her at once. Now my 6 yr old daughter cant wait for school each morning. Thank you for this course.

Enjoing our RightStart Math Level A
We purchased this for our 4.5 year old for our first year of homeschooling (Kindergarten). We have finished lesson 36 and are happy with the layout of the lessons, manipulatives and math games. I find that some lessons move very quickly for us but we are able to either expand on the skills or practice further skills. For the times where the concept was more challenging I have been able to easily add in more practice of the concept at the same lesson or next lesson based on what is presented in the lessons and explanations. We plan to continue with Level B.

Lessons look great!
Great amount of time and contact with each lesson.

The best math program for a visual & kinesthetic learner
This has been an amazing first year homeschooling using Right Start Math level A. Everything is hands on which helps my visual & kinesthetic learner really have fun touching, and holding the manipulative while learning math concepts. We're at the very end of the book working on fractions, and I am blown away that my kindergartner understand fractions? I never understood fractions, and now I can do fractions to! We both can see fractions mentally, and now it's a breeze. Thank you Right Start Math for making math enjoyable to teach, and helping my kind of learner really get math. I Looking forward to starting Level B in a few weeks!

Thankful
I'm very thankful that we found Right Start. This was our first year homeschooling, first year using this company's products. It was a great year. I did balk at some of the lessons wondering at the relevance of information at times, or the approach. I was able to see that 99% if it made since and tied in sensibly, in later lessons. The only thing in level A that I didn't agree with was having the student write and rewrite their numbers to make a complete 12 month calendar within the time span of one or two lessons. I though that was an exceedingly tedious requirement for this age and ability level. My son also had a lot of difficulty with handwriting. We worked on number writing in other ways, and had a printed calendar available to reference. (That's one of the great things about homeschooling!) For my next child, I think I'll spread it out and have him fill out the next month's page as one month ends... maybe once a week, spread it out somehow. Otherwise, I look forward to continuing with Right Start, especially because of all the great manipulative; and the size of/time spent on lessons was age appropriate.
