    Level A book bundle

I wish the appendix came as a PDF, or that all the materials had a free digital version included, but other than the materials being a bit unwieldy, I'm VERY happy with this system. I love that the manual is spiral-bound, I love the simple, clean pages, and my kid loves doing Yellow is the Sun. It's all so streamlined and precise, but with ideas for ways to do extra practice when you hit a point the child isn't mastering right away. Why isn't all curriculum like this?! I wish I purchased RightStart a year earlier.

High-quality manipulatives. Well organised curriculum. Really works and understands the learning needs of young children.

    Absolutely the Best

Posted by Michael from North Carolina on 7th Sep 2022

We have used RightStart Math's Level B, C, and now D in homeschooling our older son. Naturally, as our younger son began kindergarten, we knew where to begin. Although our younger son is already a step or two ahead in math from watching his brother learn, I am glad we began back at Level A because I am already seeing so many gaps in his math education that were difficult to detect. As a student, I always thought math was my weak subject, but now I understand how poorly I was served in my math education. As a self-proclaimed "RightStart Math evangelist", I absolutely love seeing my boys excel with confidence.

    We love it

After trying two other math programs (Abeka and Saxon) unsuccessfully with my oldest who is autistic, we changed over to Right Start and it has been life changing for both of us. It is such a gentle approach, and the handwriting/drills are nonexistent. We just LOVE it. I cannot recommend enough. I also am confident it’s going to give him a solid foundation for number sense that he will have his whole life. I am teaching his little brother with him, and even my almost 5 year old has no trouble staying focused and completing the fun activities. It is just SO GOOD. We are only on lesson 20, but lessons have taken no longer than 15 minutes, which is a huge difference from Saxon which was taking us over 2 hours some days. It also is helping me to think about numbers differently! Worth the investment and heavy start up cost (for the manipulatives), especially if you have a struggling learner, or a child you want to let be a child and don’t want to overwhelm with work in early elementary.

    Amazing Program!

Posted by Sarah Dylan on 20th Jan 2022

I am a music teacher and I also love math. We were using a different program which was 'ok' but I knew there had to be something better. My expert homeschool friend (a mom of 4) recommended Right Start Math. My son absolutely loves the program. We start our days with math and I love that we also get to sing! I can really see that he is learning the concepts, and even my younger son is learning some basics and singing along. This program will not disappoint. I highly reccomend it to anyone looking for the best math program available. It's truly amazing!

    Level A

For my kinesthetic learner, we have been struggling with learning math (and the abcs/reading). I intuitively knew that this would be the ideal math program, so we scrapped what we were doing 1/2 way through kindergarten and started this program. We’re 1/2 way through 1st grade and my son is thriving in math. We are now learning math 4 times per week, but started with just 2 days per week, and will be ending this level at the end of this school year. I plan on starting Level B for our summer schooling and into 2nd grade. I’m so happy with this program! I thought that my son wasn’t good at math and felt like I was failing him as a homeschooling parent. It turns out, that I just wasn’t helping him learn according to his learning style. Once we started this program, he thrived. He had only retained 5% of what we had learned for the first 1/2 of kindergarten, to retaining 95-99% in his second 1/2 of kindergarten. He now loves math and feels confident in his ability to figure out problems. I plan on using this curriculum all the way through high school for him and recommend it to all my friends. Thank you for creating such an awesome program

    Having a blast!

I don't think we could have picked a better math curriculum for our first year of homeschooling. My number one objective was to keep learning fun, and RightStart is surpassing expectations. I also love that I am able to just open and go each day without spending time planning lesson plans. I highly recommend this curriculum. We're only a couple of months in, and it's already worth every penny.
