My daughter loves her daily math lesson! The teaching scripts and materials are accessible and the games keep her enjoying math practice.
We are just jumping into Rightstart this year as I decided to start homeschooling my 3rd grader. We could not be more thrilled with this curriculum! The review lessons are catching us up to speed with the abacus etc. and we are both loving the time we get to spend on math learning and playing the games. It went from my daughters least favorite subject to her absolute favorite subject! I am learning better ways to approach basic math as well. Thank you so much!
This is an incredible program. I’m homeschooling for the first time. My son is a third grader and he’s really enjoying the material. He gets it! I’m thrilled!
After trying several programs with my active child, Right Start was recommended to us by a veteran math teacher/homeschool mom. I cannot say enough about this program. I am an educator working on a doctorate in curriculum. My research deals with authentic learning, so I tend to be a little over critical of any program that we use. Right Start has far exceeded my expectations. I plan to also use it with my other two children as they begin homeschooling in kinder.
We are using the level a for my K child and decided to switch for my 3rd grader and she is enjoying it a lot more than our previous program and even takes less time! No more hounding her to get math done. The older kids love to join in the games too!
There is really no other product out there that walks you through with such clarity and thoroughness as RightStart. I have been nothing short of pleased and appreciative. I know my math skills but it was not my strong suit and with this program, that doesn't show. Thank you for putting so much effort into creating a complete product so that my girls can come out with a strong foundation.
I love everything about Right Start math! I've been homeschooling for four years and my oldest just recently started Level D, while my youngest is halfway through Level A. There is plenty of review built in at the beginning of each lesson and we love the manipulatives/card games. Because RS math is a spiral program, as well as mastery, topics are always reintroduced and reviewed in later lessons. I cannot say enough positive about this program and quality of materials.
Our homeschool has used all the levels of Right Start Math and love it. Lessons have built on review and build on each each other. The manipulatives make it easier to see and understand. The curriculum script is a huge time saver and helps everyone stay on task too!
after using 7 different math curriculum, I can say that Right start is by FAR the BEST !!
I just made the switch to RS *2* and very pleased with the changes - mostly, the format is easier to navigate, and there are daily reminders of which games to play (instead of trying to remember on my own)
It is a MASTERY approach and VERY worth while.
SO glad I finally switched.
TIP: BEGIN as soon as you can - it's a bit harder to start in grade 4 than in grade 1
