The RS2 Level B Lessons continue to build a strong foundation with number sense through quantity recognition and mental strategies by grouping in 5s and 10s using the AL Abacus. RS2 Level B includes addition and subtraction facts to 18, place value to the thousands, geometry, measurement, time, money, and basic fractions. 4-digit addition and 2-digit mental addition is also incorporated. Problem solving and place value are emphasized throughout. Card games are included in the lessons. Review lessons are included for children new to the RightStart™ program.

Great for a wiggly little boy who was bored with worksheets
My bright 5 year old son did fine with traditional worksheets, but he was bored and I was tired of fighting to make him focus. RS Math has been a great fit with the many manipulatives, songs, and games and minimal black and white worksheets. He is enthusiastic about doing the lessons and will ask to play the games just for fun.

Level B
Comprehensive. Glad I completed the placement test- we are starting with level B for my homeschooled 5 yo. Small detail- the kit does not include the Yellow is the Sun CD but only the book.

The BEST math program!
My only regret is that I didn't know about RightStart math earlier! This program allows you to easily teach with a script how math should be taught. The lessons are providing a fantastic foundation. The games and lessons are interactive. and fun. I really enjoy playing the games as well AND the unexpected benefit of spending quality time engaging in play with my child that I know is making lasting happy memories.

2nd Grade Math
After a few months on a different homeschool curriculum, I switched to RightStart Math because I felt my 2nd grade daughter needed a better grasp of math concepts and being able to add and subtract in her head. She enjoys math much more now and I can tell this is building a lot better foundation for her. I'm very pleased!

Math
We been using level a and now moving to level b. Love it, the pace, the lesson plans and it all make sense whatever that its taught. Really helps my child and me to explain to them.

Brilliant program for genuine learning of math
We are so glad we made this purchase... I'm so glad my friend recommended it so highly because it's quite an investment and I hesitated at first. Absolutely no regrets, and my two boys enjoy math now. It's so awesome to see their deeper understanding of the concepts now.

Level F Math
The way the program is put together is awesome. Easy to follow and direct to the point. However, in my opinion it needs a little more worksheet for reviews and little quizzes after few lessons. In my experience, worksheets and projects along side many mini quizzes reinforced my learning with Math on top of games and lectures. It would be nice to have an optional booklet of practice questions we can purchase. The games that we get to play with the lessons are fun. We enjoy it as a family.
