Awesome and effective tool for learning
Love this curriculum
Both my daughter and I love this curriculum. We love the math games, using the abacus. It really clicked with my daughter and it is fun for me too.
RSM LV 1 AND 2
We LOVE IT I recommend to all parents but especially to those who have active children....mentally or physically. I wish this was available when I was young. It would have changed my relationship with numbers. Can not recommend enough. Our son is always disappointed when we don't do math "class"
Keeps us coming back
I’ve tried so many Math curriculums for my boys. This has been the one we keep coming back to. We don’t do every activity, but love the options and the simplicity of the worksheets. Lack of color and pictures keeps them from getting distracted and doodling all over the page. :)
Level A & B
Right Start has been amazing for my family! I am currently using level A and B. I taught K for 10 years and wished I would have had this program for my students then it is amazing. It teaches a great foundation for number sense and then in following levels place value and so on. We all are excited to do math everyday! My middle child is a struggles in math and it is a blessing for us! She is understanding concepts she hasn't before and she is in 3rd grade and been to public school until now! It is a program the parent has to lead however math is an important skill so worth it. Plus it is fun! There is no prep work other than 1-2 minutes prior getting out materials. I read directly from the script!
We love it
My first grader loves it, and I enjoy it too! My three year old plays along with the manipulatives. I love the variety of tools used. They really help kids understand the concepts more deeply and keep the lessons fresh every day. The games are very fun and good practice. It’s so helpful to learn to see the abacus in your mind, and not have to count every bead but recognize numbers by breaking them into parts that you can identify without counting. I wish I had learned this earlier in my own education and in educating my children.
RightStart for the Win!
We are loving RightStart Math! This curriculum is well planned and build beautifully on the previous skills learned. My daughter actually looks forward to her math lessons and it makes it especially fun to play a game to reinforce the concepts at the end of many lessons!
Great wholistic math curriculum. Spiral. Hard to pick and choose the specific lessons you need.
Great for a wiggly little boy who was bored with worksheets
My bright 5 year old son did fine with traditional worksheets, but he was bored and I was tired of fighting to make him focus. RS Math has been a great fit with the many manipulatives, songs, and games and minimal black and white worksheets. He is enthusiastic about doing the lessons and will ask to play the games just for fun.
