Ten heavy paper tiles that are a representation of the AL Abacus to introduce and enforce the concept of hundreds and thousands.
*These replace the folded version that was used in RightStart™ Mathematics first edition.
The abacus tiles make understanding the 100s so intuitive. Along with the place value cards these have really helped my child understand place value.
These new tiles are upgrades to the ones we constructed years ago. The previous version were nice, but these new tiles are much easier for my son to visualize. It makes much more sense for him to use these to represent 10x10. The other version confused him a little because he kept trying to count the beads on the ends of the box.
